well you know i love the double R. In fact he's got to be my 2nd favourite Ron in the world :). Speaking of which in honour of the first Ron - i think we should call this one rondagger - cus he always cuts to the heart. ahahah
anyway - i had enjoyed the site before just because i got to look at his picture and such - but i didnt know he posted his weekly articles - that one was really challenging.
I think my motivation is often what he talks about as looking to find God in the situation - whether seeing Him in the person I am trying to help or whatever. Or at least trying to analyze for some deeper level like that so i can feel good about myself.
he's probably right in saying we need to do it just because it is right to do, as Jesus did - in order to truly represent God's love. The problem I have here is that the 'right thing' needs to be defined in some sort of system no? As in - how would i know i am doing the right thing if i hadn't been told what was right by my upbringing or my faith. gah - i donno
